The stars
Glimmering endlessly
The meteor shower begins
Marking the beginning
Of something much greater
As a kid I used to watch the stars constantly
Whenever they were out
I’d look out the window
I don’t know why
They always seems nostalgic to me
I’m apparently not the only one
The stars seem nostalgic to hundreds of others my age
I wonder what secrets they hold
Are they distant worlds like one story says?
Or are they the newly departed like another says?
Meanwhile the final battle begins
And upon the chosen hero’s triumph
He discovers it’s already too late
Because a new chapter has begun
Those that reminisce at the stars have begun to fight
Glimmering endlessly
The meteor shower begins
Marking the beginning
Of something much greater
As a kid I used to watch the stars constantly
Whenever they were out
I’d look out the window
I don’t know why
They always seems nostalgic to me
I’m apparently not the only one
The stars seem nostalgic to hundreds of others my age
I wonder what secrets they hold
Are they distant worlds like one story says?
Or are they the newly departed like another says?
Meanwhile the final battle begins
And upon the chosen hero’s triumph
He discovers it’s already too late
Because a new chapter has begun
Those that reminisce at the stars have begun to fight
Literature
Prince of Darkness
this is all i have now, little hero.
the world itself
is static and silent.
i’m breathing cold smoke
from blue flames and mining
for a spark of life
in depths that know only death—
it has come to this. eternity
is a palpable shadow, little hero.
tread lightly, or else
i may yet let you live.
as for me, i will stand
no more such torment. there is
a hunger for death
which cannot be sated vicariously.
and so—
little hero, little fiend …
your flame is still strong …
come now, bring me
to embers, to ashes, to dust.
Literature
Labyrinth of the Physical Form
You dare to wander throughout the catacombs
And search every scum-filled corner
In search of something you may never find.
Be careful,
For the blood dripping down the walls will stain your white shirt
And the grim underneath will wear your feet down.
You'll become entangled in the tendrils of my faults,
And the sins will ensnare you in a death grip.
The air is suffocating
And the walls drip with poison of the mind.
The inner passage
To my heart, somehow still beating,
Is not worthwhile,
Yet you insist on finding the me
That's still lost in a dream.
You shine so bright
In my darkness,
I don't want to put you out.
Literature
ALEXITHYMIA
So much easier to erect
a barricade of lips
than to heed the warning
of a paper roadblock
Curiosity the engine
rousing my reluctance
against its will
to maneuver through
the standards
I can only see in outline

I had a weird daydream some time ago. I noticed a lot of people I've seen on here (and by that I mean like 5 people) enjoy looking at the stars. That I guess inspired me towards this dream, which somehow involved about half a dozen different series, movies, books, etc and somehow... VIXX? I don't know where VIXX came from, since I haven't really followed them since "On and On". Oh well. Enjoy!
